May 27 and May 30 Office Closings

Please note that the GEAR UP office in Frankfort will be closed on Friday, May 27, for a furlough day, a budget-balancing measure. The office will also be closed on Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day.

2012 Drive the Dream Scholarships

Pre-labeled applications for the 2012 Drive the Dream Scholarships are being mailed to site staff this week for distribution to eligible students. Due dates are as follows:

• Completed applications due back to site staff by 5/27.
• Site staff confirms all GPA's by end of school year.
• Completed application packages due back to CPE/GU offices by 6/10.
• Scoring and reviews completed by 7/1.
• Announcement of winners made by the beginning of 2012-13 school year.
